Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P has sent out a passionate appeal to all persons who still believe that COVID-19 is a made-up story to achieve whatever purpose.
The singer who was part of the now-defunct vibrant musical duo, P-Square revealed recently that he and his wife and daughter tested positive for the virus and have now recovered after quite an experience.
Okoye, after his recovery sought to use his position as a popular entertainer to create awareness to the general public to be mindful of the outlined preventive protocols because the virus is real, however, he was called out by many social media users for chasing clout.
However, it appears some people still do not believe that the virus exists, with prolific comic actor, Mr Ibu also joining the chorus.
The singer who is preparing for the release of his album “The Prodigal” took to his Twitter page to drop a message for such people. He cautioned people to stay safe as they go out, adding that a word is enough for the wise.
