Hammer of the Last Two Praises Kwabena Kwabena, Slams Kontihene

Legendary Ghanaian producer Hammer of the Last Two has spoken out about the beef between Kwabena Kwabena and Kontihene which has turned really ugly.

Hammer, whilst trying not to take sides, said he can confidently debunk claims from Kontihene that Kwabena Kwabena is a drug addict.

“I worked with him for a long time, he was the main voice behind most of my hits. I know him and can tell you for a fact that he is not a drug addict…” Hammer told MzGee on 3Fm.

“Drug addicts speak for themselves. If you are a drug addict, nobody needs to tell somebody that you are a drug addict. It will show. Drug addicts are not focused, they don’t do albums, they go months without bathing. Just look at him. He is focused.”

Hammer added that he believes Kontihene is badmouthing Kwabena Kwabena in that way because they had an argument and that’s what people do when they fight.

“When people fall off, they say nasty things about each other,” Hammer asserted. “At a point in time, they were very great friends. I have a policy. When people fight, I don’t take sides because when they get together, they will alienate you. I believe they have too much history not to get back together. They are just angry with each other for whatever reason, I do not know. Taking part in the noise makes you a third person”.

The two former colleagues who gave Ghanaians one of the most iconic songs of all time, ‘Aso’, recently had a huge fight.

Kontihene alleged that Kwabena Kwabena is a drug addict and even introduced others to drugs.

Kwabena Kwabena responded by threatening to sue Kontihene.
