Mother of the late KNUST SHS student who died due to negligence has spoken out for the first time about how school authorities contributed to his death.
According to Madam Comfort, she had heard her son was sick at the school and tried to see him a day before he died but the security officials at the school sacked her and said she’s not allowed to see her son.

Sounding traumatised from the death of her son, she told Angel Fm that her son was neglected whilst he was sick and then when she tried to see him they also turned her away.
“I was prevented from seeing my child on Sunday, just a day before the incident. The security men at the gate drove me away like chicken,” she said.
According to her after being sacked, her son’s illness worsened on Monday but the school didn’t even inform her of that until the evening.

Eventually he died with school authorities alleged to have refused to get him any medical attention out of fear he might be suffering from COVID-19 when he actually had an ulcer.
She confirmed that school authorities watched him get worse and near death before calling her to come for the son, by which point it was too late.
