The Accra Girls Senior High School has become the centre of immense drama today as students agitate to go home following 6 students testing positive for COVID-19.

Students in the school are agitating to go home whilst their parents have also flooded the school to withdraw them.

In the midst of all this, police have flooded the school premises to maintain order and security.

This comes after six students of the school tested positive for the virus and were sent to the Ga East Municipal Hospital for treatment.

The President recently relaxed restrictions on schooling for final year students to complete their examinations but with the disease having infiltrated Accra Girls parents are nervous.

According to Adom News, school authorities have told parents that they cannot withdraw their wards unless they receive authorization from the Ghana Education Service.
