Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo Fires Bulldog For Taking On Stonebwoy Over Artiste Manager Comments

Popular Entertainment pundit and writer, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has called out Bulldog over a piece the latter wrote which sought to criticize dancehall artiste Stonebwoy over some comments he made in reference to artiste managers when he appeared as a guest on UTV’s United Showbiz.

Stonebwoy, when he appeared on UTV’s United Showbiz with Nana Ama McBrown, questioned the credentials of artiste managers by asking if there was any artist manager in the country with a certificate.

Bulldog responded via social media by writing a lengthy post slamming Stonebwoy for disrespecting artist managers, while also explaining that one does not necessarily need a certificate to manage an artist.

However, Asamoah-Baidoo has also taken to social media to respond to Bulldog’s rants, referring the Bullhaus Entertainment CEO to a weeks ago on the same UTV show when he (Bulldog) questioned his (Arnold’s) credibility in talking about artiste managers since he has not managed an artist before.

His post read in part, “Just few weeks ago on the show (United Showbiz), you and Bullet almost shut me down, telling me I had no right to speak on the matter, because, according to you, I had no experience in managing any artiste.

You see, my boss, at that moment and all the moments you questioned my positioning to speak on such related matters, you didn’t show me and all other journalists the needed respect.

You failed to acknowledge the fact that, as journalists in this trade and as pundits of many years in this same business, we have attained some stripes to be able to give valuable contributions to issues concerning our space.

We may not also have ‘certificates’ in Artiste Management, but at least, we have learned, monitored, and researched enough to know what is appropriate or otherwise in this space.”
