Ghanaian social media users have slammed Despite Media after an appeal for funds was made by the company to raise money to look after the children of the late Kwadwo Wiafe-Annor.

According to social media users, how can a company that rich whose General Manager spent five days and millions on his wedding be begging for funds to take care of the family of one of their own?

The social media mob came out with forks after Okay Fm and other Despite stations posted a flier on Facebook appealing for loved ones to help contribute to a ‘Kwadwo Wiafe’ endowment fund, to help take care of the wife and kids of the late presenter.

“All friends, loved ones and sympathizers who wish to support the wife and children of our favourite MC’s MC can contribute to Kwadwo Wiafe Endowment Fund…” the post read.

Social media users slammed the company after spotting the flier with each one coming with their own attack.
