Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong has had his issues compounded after losing a defamation suit brought against him by renowned journalist, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako.

The Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr has won his defamatory suit against businessman and Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Mr Kennedy Agyapong, after a protracted legal tussle which has dragged on for some time now.
On Friday morning, the High Court came out with its verdict and ruled in favour of Mr Baako.

The court has consequently given Mr Kennedy Agyapong 30 days to retract and apologise three times on the platforms he used to defame Kweku Baako.
The damage was set at Ghc100,000 with the cost of Gh30,000. Until the disagreement and the subsequent lawsuit involving them, the two were said to be very good friends.
