Artiste manager and staunch NDC supporter Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, aka Bulldog, has lashed out at President Nana Akufo-Addo over the new face mask law.
According to Bulldog, the law is ‘senseless and insensitive’ adding that Akufo-Addo has failed woefully as a President.
A new executive instrument (EI) passed this week sets stiff punishments for those who don’t wear face masks in public.
Anyone who flouts the law faces a prison sentence of four to 10 years or a fine of GH¢12,000 to GH¢60,000, or both.
The law has been widely criticized and Buldog has done same.
According to him, Akufo-Addo has failed as a leader and the new law is too harsh and should be repealed.
He wrote on Facebook: “This is senseless and insensitive! You promised 1 this 1 that and you failed woefully! You cannot deliver ordinary 1 mask 😷 1 person?
