Obour Wins NPP’s Asante Akyem South Primary

Former MUSIGA President Bice Osei Kuffour aka Obour has won the NPP Primaries for the Asante Akyem South constituency.

Obour beat the incumbent MP, Hon. Kwaku Asante Boateng to the seat.

Obour will thus stand on the ticket of the NPP in the upcoming elections and is quite likely to become an MP as the seat is an NPP stronghold.

The ruling party is holding it’s parliamentary primaries all across the country today, June 20th.

Obour’s long-shot candidature was not given much of a chance when he announced but he’s pulled through to win the primaries.
