M.anifest Names the Best Rapper Alive In IG Live Session with Sarkodie – Video

M.anifest and Sarkodie appeared together on an IG Live session Friday night to talk about all things rap following their release of the single ‘Brown Paper Bag’.

The two rap heavyweights amicably chatted on several topics, making you even forget that they once had a beef.

During the chat, Sarkodie asked M.anifest if there could ever be one person who is universally acclaimed as the best rapper alive and M.anifest gave his thoughts.

According to the ‘GodMC’, there are two ways to look at a question like that – one concerning simply skill and the other concerning both skill level, influence and dominance within a particular time period.

In terms of skill, M.anifest said there can not be one universally acclaimed rapper but a slew of rappers in that top tier whether in Ghana, Africa or globally.

However, he added, there can be a best rapper every single year who has dominated the industry within that particular year.
