Karma Is Real: Nigerian Musician Who Exposed Mr Drew For Copyright Violation In Trouble As Kofi Nti Threatens Legal Action For Sampling His Song Without Permission

The Nigerian-American singer, Rotimi who cited Ghana’s Mr Drew for copyright infringements, after the Ghanaian had released a cover of his song, has landed himself in a similar position.

Apparently, Rotimi stands accused of stealing some lines from Ghanaian Highlife artiste Kofi Nti’s popular song ‘Odo Ndwom’ featuring Ofori Amponsah, without permission.

Many Ghanaians have called on the highlife artiste to address the issue the same way the Nigerian did to our own Mr Drew.

Kofi Nti has actually expressed his intention to take legal action against the singer for sampling his song without his permission. Karma is real after all. We just didn’t expect it to announce its presence so quickly and in such manner.
