Actor John Dumelo has continued dredging the drains of Ayawaso West Wuogon despite an order from the Municipal Assembly to put a stop to work.
Dumelo has defied the orders and is continuing his dredging activities.

He took to social media himself to announce his defiance of the ‘stop work’ orders, posting photos from the dredging site.
“The community in West Legon complained to me about flooding and I decided to help by deploying excavators to dredge the drains there. After 3 continuous days of dredging the site, Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly has ordered me to stop but I still Dey 4 my people. #wemove #idey4u,” Dumelo posted.
As we reported Tuesday, John Dumelo, who is a parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency on the ticket of the NDC, took it upon himself to dredge some drains in the constituency following recent rains and floods.

However, the Ayawaso West Assembly ordered him to stop work, apparently for political benefit since he was winning lots of plaudits for his dredging.
