Ghana Records 397 New Cases Of COVID-19, And Eight New Deaths

According to the latest updates by the Ghana Health Service, Ghana has recorded 397 new cases of COVID-19, taking our tally of confirmed cases to 12,590.

The number of recoveries now stands at 4,410. Unfortunately, the death toll has increased by 8 taking the total number of deaths to 66.

Three of the latest deaths had no underlying conditions. These three persons were aged under 40. The other deceased persons had diabetes, hypertension and Sickle Cell as underlying conditions.

According to this update, Ghana now has 8,114 active cases, out of which there are currently 13 persons in severe condition and four in a critical condition.
