Grandpa of Hiplife, Reggie Rockstone has responded to Shatta Wale’s comments that he is poor and has done nothing significant for the Hiplife artistes in the country.
Controversial dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has fired Rockstone in the past, labelling him as poor after all his years of being at the pinnacle of contemporary Ghanaian music.
Shatta repeated his assertions last Saturday when he appeared as a guest on UTV’s United Showbiz with actress Nana Ama McBrown. The dancehall artiste insisted that the veteran musician has nothing to his name, despite being prevailed upon by Abeiku Santana to stop making those assertions.
But, the veteran musician has responded to Shatta Wale with a song which proves that the grandpa is still in his elements. In the song, Reggie claims that though he may be physically poor, he is rich in spirit. He also claims that he is the 50+-year-old these kids will be envying.
