The Minister of Health, Mr. Kwaku Agyemang Manu has been discharged from the University of Ghana Medical Centre where he was on admission after contracting COVID-19.
This information was released by the Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah at a press briefing this evening. The Health Minister is said to have been discharged to continue treatment from home.

Mr. Agyemang Manu was reported a few days ago to have contracted COVID-19 in the line of duty. Though the reports were earlier dismissed, the President confirmed the situation of the minister in his address last night.

Ghana’s COVID-19 case count currently stands at 11,964 with 4,258 recoveries and 54 deaths.
