A copyright lawyer has educated Shatta Wale and his rabid fans over copyright law after the SM boss declared he would sue any blogger who uses posts from his social media accounts for stories.
Wale, during his appearance on UTV’s United Showbiz Saturday night, got into an argument with fellow panellist Abeiku Santana over his claims about copyright.

Wale said if he posts something on his social media accounts and any blogger uses for a story he has the right the sue that person.
Since then Wale and his fans have been making noise on social media about suing everyone but a copyright lawyer has stopped them dead in their tracks with some education.
In a twitter thread, the Ghana law hub makes it clear that posting something on social media as a public figure makes it news the public wants to know and can be published by the media with the sole purpose to inform the public.
