Stonebwoy has taken a subliminal shot at his former protege Kelvynboy after revealing that some ‘mentees’ in the Ghana showbiz industry are not ready to be patient and want to blow in just 2 days.
According to Stonebwoy, those who are serving under their seniors must show respect, patience and morals but these days those kinds of attitudes are lost with everyone trying to hit as fast as possible.

Speaking on Citi TV on Friday, June 12th 2020, Stonebwoy was asked about his relationship with Samini who helped him when he started his career.
According to him he was ready to serve under Samini and learned a lot from him but those in the next generation are not ready to take their time and learn but want instant success.
“In the end, a mentor is ahead of you and as a mentee, you are below the person. The way and manner you manage to get the best and get the blessing of that person is very important,” Stonebwoy said.
According to him, it’s up to the mentee to know the ways and manners of the mentor they are working with and get used to it.

“…Sometimes your boss is strict…the way you react to them, the way you receive these things as a mentee, as an apprentice, actually determines the love and the form of blessings of your mentor,”
“Its how you comport yourself and show your true value…but in Ghana most often we find that the mentees and the apprentices they just want to become the master in two days,” Stonebwoy fired.
Although he said he was talking in general terms we can extrapolate that an experience with a mentee who wanted to blow in 2 days is what is guiding his thoughts there – he can only be referring to Kelvynboy!
Stonebwoy added that in the past apprentices had morals and knew to relax and wait their turn even if it takes years but these days everyone is in a rush to ‘blow’.
