Renowned Investigative Journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has slammed Accra Fm presenter Nana Romeo for his unprofessional line of questioning during an interview with songstress Wendy Shay yesterday.

Nana Romeo incurred the wrath of many Ghanaians when he insisted that Wendy Shay should answer a question as to whether she was having an affair with her boss, Bullet.

Though the songstress consistently declined to answer the question, the host kept pushing her for an answer claiming he had video evidence to that effect. The back and forth eventually forced the singer to walk out of the interview.

However, reacting to this, the award-winning investigative journalist expressed his surprise at how the host handled a guest on his show. He wrote, “Why should it be normal for male celebrities to sleep around with anyone they choose, but the media harass their female counterparts about their relationships? It’s very offensive and depressing, especially when it’s harder for women to a breakthrough in the industry than men”.

“There are young women who have talents but might decide to hide because they cannot stand this crass harassment. Or did Wendy Shay tell the presenter she had taken an oath of celibacy or enrolled to become a Catholic nun?”
