Legendary Asante Kotoko midfielder Stephen Oduro has revealed rather shockingly that self-acclaimed angel and founder of The International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim was his playmate and a very exceptionally talented footballer.

In an interview with Revolt Gh, the ex Asante Kotoko playmaker revealed that he used to live in the same vicinity as the controversial Bishop. According to the respected former footballer, Obinim was such a good footballer that he still finds it hard to understand why he quit football.

Stephen Oduro, in his playing days, was such a prolific and well-respected footballer whose enviable reputation permeated all bias considerations, having earned the respect of fans and opponents alike.
