Ghanaian actress and social media influencer, Efia Odo has slammed Ghanaian authorities for suggesting to black Americans to come to Ghana if they feel racially segregated abroad.
According to the controversial personality, Ghana has peculiar problems of its own, which she challenged the authorities to fix if they really wish to accommodate outsiders.
She wrote, “They’re telling Americans facing racial discrimination to come to Ghana as if ghana doesn’t have accentuating issues already. From bad roads to bad Infrastructure to corrupt authorities! Fix your country first and before you invite any outsiders”.
Efia’s Tweet comes on the back of comments by government officials during a memorial ceremony organized yesterday in honour of George Floyd, who was killed by police personnel a few days ago.
