Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has announced that her lawyers are currently pursuing an official retraction and apology from Mona Gucci after she allegedly defamed her on Neat Fm.

The actress has also sounded a clear warning to media houses who entertain people whose only business is to tarnish people’s brand, to watch out for her and her lawyers.

Mona Gucci, when she appeared as a guest on Ola Michael’s show on Neat Fm, accused Yvonne Nelson of being a slay queen. The actress swiftly instructed her lawyers to officially write and demand an apology and retraction, and to initiate legal proceedings when they receive none.

Ola Michael and Neat Fm also swiftly apologized and retracted, and this has been duly acknowledged by the actress. However, she claims that she is yet to receive that of Mona Gucci.

In an Instagram post, she wrote, “My lawyers wrote to NEAT FM and MONA GUCCI concerning some defaming statements made about me on their platform, we asked they quickly retract their statements/ issue an apology. NEAT FM just did, Lawyers will pursue MONA GUCCI’s”.

“The Media (who the cap fits) finds it difficult to promote my works, but easily entertain tarnishing my image. Let this be a little reminder, any media house who drags the YN brand again into negativity will not be given the chance to apologize at all. Thanks”.
