Sarkodie ‘Shoots Down’ Sammy Gyamfi’s Botched Explanation On ‘Insensitive’ George Floyd Cartoon – Advises Him To Apologize

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian Rapper Sarkodie has shot down NDC Communications Director, Sammy Gyamfi’s explanation on a cartoon he shared which sought to link George Floyd’s unfortunate killing to the NDC’s struggle with the Electoral Commission.

The cartoon which drew massive outrage and condemnation from social media forced the vociferous and largely unapologetic Sammy Gyamfi to attempt to offer an explanation to the post, an explanation which has received even more flak than the actual post.

Reacting to the incident, Sarkodie has offered a word of advice to the young politician, advising him to take down the insensitive post and apologize, instead of trying to explain himself.

Sarkodie tweeted, “Naa my brother we all go wrong sometimes… I will believe your intention wasn’t to joke with this serious n very sensitive issues, but you still wrong just do what’s right…. retract n take it down”
