It appears the beef between comedienne Maame Esi Forson and her senior colleague Afia Schwarzenegger is about to get murkier after both parties fired their initial missiles.

Maame Esi in an interview with Foster Romanus on ETV’s Late Night Celebrity Chat Show, last week had touted herself as Ghana’s queen of comedy, describing Schwarzenegger as a drama queen who is only good at insults and not comedy.

Afia Schwarzenegger, in a typical fashion, responded by describing her junior colleague as a GHS100 prostitute, seemingly confirming Maame Esi’s earlier assertion that she was only good at insults.

In the latest response, Maame Esi has apologized to her fans and anyone who felt offended at her earlier interview, including Schwarzenegger.

She, however, issued a warning to Afia not to refer to her as a prostitute since they do not know each other. She further reminded Afia that she is not dating her (Afia’s) ex-husband, “Abrokwa acid”.

Well, since the battle lines have been clearly outlined, and first shots adequately fired, we can only patiently sit tight and watch the drama unfold before our very eyes.
