Underground rapper and singer based in Takoradi, Kwabena Currency, has lamented in an interview with Sammy Kay that the concept of Kofi Kinaata’s popular song “Things fall apart” was stolen from him.
The Takoradi based musician disclosed that he originally had his version of the song on a cover beat, which had gained massive popularity in the western region.
According to him, he had plans to feature Kinaata on an original beat for the song but could not see his vision materialize as a result of financial constraints.
To his utter shock, he realized later that the popular rapper had sampled his concept and recorded the song. He alleged.

Kwabena Currency also took a swipe at prominent Rapper Yaa Pono for not doing enough to promote a song he did with him.
