It’s Been Tough, Jaden Still Remembers You Told Him You Were Going To Come Back From Your Journey – Barbara Mahama

It’s been 3 years since the death of Major Captain Maxwell Mahama; Ghanaians have probably forgotten or put it behind them but the family still remembers it like 3 days ago.

The late Major Captain Mahama’s wife, Barbara has penned an emotional message to mark the 3 years of losing her dear husband.

She wrote, ‘It feels like you‘ve been gone for just 3 days. Continue to rest well Maxwell. We miss you is an understatement. Jaden still remembers that you told him you were going to come back from that journey #foreverloved #3years.’

On May 29th 2017, Ghana witnessed one of its darkest moments in history! Residents of Denkyira Obuasi stoned a military officer, Captain Maxwell Mahama who had been deployed by the government to lead his team to fight illegal mining.

According to residents, they mistook him to be an armed robber and lynched him.
