Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Mr. Drew has been dealt a massive reputational blow as his music video which featured multi-talented reggae/dancehall musician, Stonebwoy has been pulled down by Youtube for copyright issues.
The song ‘Eat’ had generated enough attention considering that it featured one of Ghana and Africa’s most prominent artists in the person of Stonebwoy.
Mr. Drew, a signee of Highly Spiritual Music, had recently celebrated a milestone as the music video had bagged over 100,000 views on Youtube.
Apparently, the track is a sampled cover of POWER star, Rotimi’s “Love Riddim”, a popular single from his ‘Walk With Me’ album released in July 2019.
Youtube, in accordance with their laid down policies, deleted the video after a formal complaint from Rotimi’s record label, Empire.
