Until this week, I had never paid more than a minute attention to struggling Ghanaian musician-eShun. She seems to have a bit of talent, but that’s not enough to get her anywhere in this world—considering the sort of shocking professional and personal conducts she has smugly paraded.

It’s one thing to be arrogant or stupid with professional decisions and it’s another to be sexually promiscuous. And being both with pride is enough to end even a brilliant future of a talented artist.

I am not a sorcerer but I can confidently state that eShun’s musical journey is about the get worse and then end. Her private life involving men will also continue to be full of gross disrespect, as men wouldn’t take her serious or commit to her in any meaningful way—because she has shot herself in the foot, in an unpardonable manner.

eShun, who is already a mother of one disclosed a few days ago that while in a relationship with her now ex-boyfriend and ex-manager, she slept with two other men, just to upset this man or break free from that relationship. This is not callous, but cheap and insane.

If you want to walk out of a relationship, you just have to do it. You do not need to have even any reason to walk out of a situation you deem unpleasant.

Despite the above suggesting that she was having multiple sexual partners, which she probably wasn’t using any protection with them all, she seems proud of it—as a single broke mother who at a point couldn’t even afford food or transportation to go and beg for food.

It’s pathetic but not embarrassing enough for her.

I’ve always advised my friends and associates not to waste their time or money in investing in any talent within the entertainment sector in Ghana—because many of them are ungrateful and inherently stupid. It would be more profitable to throw their money into buying treasury bills—for they will be guaranteed some good returns.

And eShun is the latest embodiment of this ungratefulness captured in her various utterances and social media postings, suggesting that a man who helped discover and develop her talent is a complete fool, demonic and user. This is the same man whose brief cutting of support to you sent you starving such that you had to walk several miles to his house in search for crumbs to eat.

Beyond the obvious ingratitude, for a Ghanaian mother of one to proudly accept that she is promiscuous and provide without any coercion details of how she cheated on her boyfriend with two other men, then she has sealed her fate with her future persons of interest. Any sane man who comes across her sexual account would and should be wary of a sexual relationship with her.

I pity eShun’s future but I sincerely believe she deserves whatever problems her own antics and comments are bound to soon fetch her.

It’s being rumoured that she is currently driving a new Range Rover. Someone who didn’t have 10 cedis to buy even gari not long ago now drives around in a Range Rover. I believe some man is working the magic but if that man is a rational being, he will soon drop her immature butt, take his car back and she will return to being broke.

One good turn deserves another—and one bad turn deserves more than another. We will be here to catalogue the desolation of eShun as time ticks.
