Ghana’s Cases Of COVID-19 Hits 7,616 After The Recording Of 313 New Cases

The Ghana Health Service has confirmed via their latest updates that Ghana’s Cases of COVID-19 has reached 7,616 after recording 313 new cases.

According to the updates, nine new persons have also recovered taking the total number of recoveries to 2,421. The death toll still stands at 34.

The Greater Accra Region remains the region with the highest number of cases with 5,331 confirmed cases of Coronavirus. The Ashanti Region has the second-highest number of infections with 1,160 cases while the Western Region, Central Region and Eastern Region have 395, 376 and 117 cases respectively.

Currently, the Ahafo region remains the only region without a confirmed Coronavirus case after the Bono Region recorded its first case of the virus.
