Ghanaian musician, comedian and social crusader A Plus has hit out at the absurdity of the Electoral Commission trying to push ahead with a registration exercise in the midst of this pandemic.
According to him, that shows the hollowness and depravity in Ghanaian politics.

A Plus argues that with schools currently closed to deal with the pandemic, the authorities are not brainstorming how to get education back on track but rather how to play their political games.
“We can put people in groups of 25 to register for a new voter’s ID but after schools were closed down and all the classrooms are empty we have not been able to put 25 final year students in each class to study and write their exams,” A Plus wrote on Facebook.

“NDC and NPP will not fight over how to get final year students in school. What is important to both parties is how to win elections. NDC + NPP = Bomb 💣💣💣.” he added.
The Electoral Commission, in the midst of this pandemic, are pushing ahead with an absurd plan to create a new voter’s register.
At this point you can only conclude that the reason they are trying so hard to endanger lives for this purpose is purely political.
