Omotola Re-activates Her Music Career After 25 Years Of Remarkable Success In The Movie Industry

Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has taken active steps to re-activate her music career, 15 years after she took her first step in that sector of the entertainment industry.

The renowned actress who has achieved remarkable success in the acting industry, and has gained recognition as one of the finest on-screen characters to have ever graced the African soil, had at a point in her life ventured into music, though without much success.

Omotola launched a “long-awaited” music career in 2005 with the release of her debut album titled “gba””. The album produced the singles “Naija Lowa” and “The Things You Do To Me.”

Her unreleased second album – Me, Myself, and Eyes, brought in production from Paul Play and Del B. It was supported by the songs “Feel Alright”, featuring Harrysong, and “Through the Fire”, featuring Uche.

Omotola recently announced her intention to relaunch her music career after the lockdown, even though many of her fans thought she was just joking. The actress has served notice of her seriousness as she announced the availability of her songs on major streaming platforms.
