Founder and Leader of the International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim has demonstrated his excitement at gaining his freedom after spending about 3 nights in Police Custody.
The Bishop, after his release was seen flaunting 100 dollar bills as he danced to celebrate his liberation from the grips of the law.
It will be recalled that the controversial bishop even after being officially granted bail, was kept in custody after allegedly failing to satisfy his bail conditions.
His lawyers had pleaded for his release on the grounds that he had a particular heart condition. Interestingly, the bishop’s supposed heart disease appears to have miraculously disappeared as he was seen dancing and demonstrating his excitement.

On Tuesday, May 19, the police arrested and charged the IGWC founder for publication of false news. The pastor was also charged for forgery of a document contrary to sections 208 and 159 of the Criminal and other offenses Act, 1960 (Act 29) respectively.
He was subsequently granted bail, to the tune of GHC100,000 by an Accra Magistrate Court with three sureties and one person to be justified. And on Friday, he was finally released from the custody of the Ghana Police Service after meeting all the bail requirements.
