Founder and leader of International God’s Way Church, Angel Bishop Obinim has finally been released from police custody.
This comes after Kennedy Agyapong has noted that he’s ready to use one of his houses as a surety to ensure the release of the embattled man of God.
Obinim has therefore been granted bail by the District Court after his arrest on May 19th and charged with forgery contrary to sections 208 and 159 respectively of the Criminal and other offences Act, (1960; Act 29).
Obinim was reportedly going through constraints securing his bail which include paying the sum of GHC100,000 with three sureties, one to be justified.
Apparently, Obinim has met his bail teams and has been released, however, according to his lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei, he has been taken back to the hospital for medical attention.
