Nigerian Man Praises Ghana Government After Receiving His Share Of Electricity Incentive

A Nigerian man living in Ghana, by name Victor Asemota has taken to Twitter to shower praises on the Government of Ghana for its electricity Incentive which was introduced to alleviate the difficulties brought about by the coronavirus pandemic.

President Akuffo Addo announced a few weeks ago an electricity incentive aimed at reducing the hardships on Ghanaians as a result of the coronavirus pandemic which had brought untoward stress on businesses.

This electricity incentive was in addition to a similar one on water which had earlier been rolled out. The incentive which allows baseline consumers to enjoy free electricity for three months, while normal consumers also get to enjoy 50% of their previous month’s consumption in addition to their purchase, has drawn a lot of applause from a Nigerian who is resident in Ghana.

Victor Asemota who could not hide his joy, took to Twitter to express his excitement. His post drew a lot of attention from his fellow Nigerians who chastized their own government for failing to look out for their citizens like Ghana has done.
