Ghana has recorded 217 new cases of COVID-19 according to official updates by the Ghana Health Service.

This means that the total case count is now 6,486 with 1,951 recoveries, while the death toll remains 31. Active cases, therefore, stand at 4,504.

The Greater Accra region has now recorded 4,699 cases followed by Ashanti with 988 cases. Western and Central regions have recorded 195 and 287 respectively.

Savannah, Ahafo, and Bono East regions still remain the only regions that are yet to record any cases of the virus.
