Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of the NDC, claims his son was sacked from his job by government as a way to punish him.
Asiedu Nketia told Joy News in an interview that government forced his son’s company to sack him as a way to ‘squeeze’ him for being a thorn in their side.
General Mosquito, as Nketia is popularly known, said even though his son’s company is a private company they need a government licence to operate.
Thus they were told they would not receive the licence unless they sack Asiedu Nketia’s son.
“My son is out of work, He happens to be working with a private company at the harbour. That private company operates with a government licence. You have the management of GPHA squeezing that private company that unless and until my son is sacked the licence will be withdrawn so my son has to be sacked. He’s in the house as I speak to you,” Mosquito said.
He added that his son has been out of work for 3 years now due to this wicked act by the government.
