125 New Recoveries Recorded As Ghana’s Cases Of COVID-19 Rise To 6,269

According to the latest official updates by the Ghana Health Service, Ghana’s cases of COVID-19 has increased to 6,269 after the recording of 173 new cases.

According to the Ghana Health Service, this increase is as a result of new cases found in the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Western and Central Regions.

125 new patients have been declared to have fully recovered after passing two negative tests, taking our total recoveries to 1,898. The death toll still remains 31.

This means that active cases now stand at 4,340 with 8 persons in critical condition, who have been put on ventilators. Ghana has so far conducted over 187,000 tests.

Greater Accra still leads the pack with 4,582 cases, followed by Ashanti with 921, with Western and Central Regions following with 170 and 285 respectively.

Savannah, Bono, and Ahafo Regions still remain the only regions yet to record any cases of the virus.
