Prominent Gospel musician Sonnie Badu has offered to help once-popular preacher Apraku my daughter, after a video went viral yesterday of the once-popular preacher looking drunk and destitute.
Apraku who was a household name in the ’90s and early 2000s as far as Christian Evangelism and Crusades was concerned, disappeared from the limelight after the collapse of his once-famous church, King Jesus Ministry International.
Ghanaians were thrown into shock when a video emerged and went viral yesterday of the once prominent preacher seemingly drunk and looking destitute.
However, reacting to the said video, Sonnie Badu, one of Ghana’s trailblazers as far as Gospel music is concerned, has pledged help for Apraku, referring to him as “still God’s servant”.
Reacting on his Instagram page, he wrote, “David saw Saul and said I will not touch God’s anointed. Where do we find this man? I don’t know him, but we will help him … @nana_amoakoadjei son @pritieyra daughter please find him … He is still Gods servant… hold on sir, help is on the way”
