Ghana’s COVID-19 Cases Rises Again As 178 New Cases Are Recorded

Following the confirmation of 178 new cases, Ghana’s total confirmed cases of COVID-19 has increased to 6,096.

According to the latest updates released by the Ghana Health Service, recoveries have increased to 1,773 indicating an increase of 19, whiles the death toll stands at 31.

This new update is due to an increase in recorded cases in four regions; Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central, and Western Regions.

The Greater Accra still remains the country’s epicenter with 4,536 cases followed by Ashanti with 888, Western Region is third with 111 cases. Savannah, Ahafo, and Bono East Regions remain virus-free.
