Not many could have predicted that the leader of the SM gang Shatta Wale will break up with the queen of SM movement especially after declaring his love for her in front of thousands and promising to make her his wife.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened with the aftermath being very unpleasant. Shatta Wale accused Michy of making it impossible for him to be in their son’s life by taking him to Kumasi while Michy alleged that Shatta is an abusive partner.
It seems the tides have turned with Shatta posting a lovely message to Michelle aka Shatta Michy on Valentine’s Day. Shatta has stopped talking about Michy on shows and their relationship seems to be recovering from the accident that was the back and forth when the break-up was fresh.
On Shatta Michy’s birthday, Shatta Wale turned Mr Romantic and posted several messages including recording a song for the woman he once loved. This is not the first time Shatta has shown love to Michy publicly but futher analysis of some his post might make one wonder whether it was romantic or shady. The video below reviews whether what Shatta did was romantic or just playing games with her.
The first post from Shatta on Instagram was a picture of Michy bitting her nail and it is the last two sentences that can be viewed as problematic. Shatta wrote “Still got love (for you) for giving me a strong and intelligent son (Majesty)”. This is a woman that has been by his side through his rap career before he turned into dancehall artist. Michelle had stayed by his side through thick and thin even during his days with Bulldog and will forever be known as Shatta Michy instead of the name her parents gave. It is insulting that she is loved not for all the days, years and moments they shared together but rather for the child she gave him. That makes a mockery of their entire relationship and the last sentence “God knows best…Peace out” almost confirms that especially when one combines that with the picture he posted.
That post makes it looks like Shatta Michy wants to get back with him and any hope of that was dashed when later he went on his Facebook live to dismiss any notion of them getting back together.
