About an hour ago, Adom TV’s Nana Yaa Brefo announced via her Instagram page that she has resigned from Multimedia, owners of Adom TV and several other stations in Ghana.
Now, a source close to the matter has told GhanaCelebrities.Com that, Nana Yaa Brefo resigned because of her pride–as she has refused to apologize to Nana Ama McBrown and Adom TV’s listeners following a botched and unprofessional interview she held with the actress.
The source said: “it has been back and forth with the management of Adom TV with Nana Yaa Brefo insisting that she will not apologize today or tomorrow–and that she will rather resign than to apologize to anyone.”
To avoid rendering the apology, Nana Yaa Brefo decided to resign, the source added.
Nana Yaa Brefo was in the news a few days ago over an interview she did with actress Nana Ama McBrown–which many said she asked stupid questions.
Later, the co-host of Adom Tv’s Badwam programme, Omanhene Kwabena Asante rendered an unqualified apology to prominent actress Nana Ama McBrown on behalf of the entire Badwam crew.
The apology was made in respect to what many characterized as “unprofessional” line of questioning and conduct exhibited by co-host Nana Yaa Brefo.
