Gospel musician Patience Nyarko has fumed at what she explains as attempts by Ghanaians to hype fellow gospel musician Joe Mettle to a level where he has not attained.
It appears the beef is not only in the world of secular music as Gospel musician Patience Nyarko takes an unprovoked and unwarranted dig at her colleague.
Joe Mettle had dominated the Ghanaian gospel music landscape for a couple of years, sweeping all awards in his way until Diana Hamilton appeared and broke his hoodoo last year.

In an interview chanced upon by GhanaCelebrities.Com, Patience Nyarko furiously refers to Joe Mettle as overhyped, saying he writes no songs on his own except to sing Pentecost and Methodist songs.
Patience further decries that gospel artistes like herself, Nacee, and Joyce Blessing who write their own songs are overlooked just because they do not sing in English like Joe Mettle.
