Princess Shyngle: Everything You Need to Know About the ‘Tiny-waisted’ Actress and Instagram Celebrity

Princess Shyngle was born in Banjul, the Gambia on December 25, 1990. Though a Ghanaian, the actress was born in the Gambia where she spent most of her formative years. Her dad, Mr Winston Shyngle was a deputy mayor in the Gambia and her mum, a businesswoman. She had both her primary and secondary school education in The Gambia.

There has been a lot of speculation as to her Country of origin. While many believe she is a Ghanaian, some believe she is a Nigerian, while some also believe she is a Gambian. However, she is a Ghanaian but was bred in the Gambia because of her father’s career in that country.

After her secondary school education, Princess Shyngle went on to pursue a computer course. After that, she veered off course and started a career as an event planner, from where she was discovered by Coca Cola Gambia. She had a stint with the multinational company before hitting the road to stardom.

She was pursued to audition for the Next movie star Africa competition. She grabbed this opportunity with both hands and eventually came out as a finalist. This became the bedrock for her to launch a career in acting.

After emerging third at the Next Movie Star Africa competition, she has gone on to star in a few movies since her breakthrough into the movie industry, especially here in Ghana. She has starred in a couple of movies with other notable Ghanaian movie stars like Juliet Ibrahim, John Dumelo and Martha Ankoma to mention a few. Dormitory 8 series, The 5 brides series in Ghana, and The hidden fantasy includes some of her major projects. She has also co-produced a movie ‘The Will.

Princess Shyngle is widely known for her ‘tapoli waist’ and for getting in the news for all the controversial reasons. Shyngle recently revealed that her fiancé Fredrick Badji is currently being held at the Essex County Correctional Facility Newark, NJ in the USA. The actress had also disclosed that she was pregnant but reports have emerged that she has had a miscarriage.
