The Radio presenter at the center of the brouhaha with Highlife musician Kidi has disclosed rather brazenly that he would have acted the same way he did to Kidi if it was Sarkodie, Shatta Wale or Stonebwoy who had turned up consistently late for a booked interview.

Nana Romeo ‘Welewele’ made major headlines yesterday after he lambasted rising superstar Kidi on live radio yesterday after the musician had turned up 25 minutes late for a scheduled interview.

The presenter who has come under severe criticism following what many describe as victimization and unfair conduct has reacted to assertions that he may not have acted that brazenly if the musician involved was any of Ghana’s three topmost superstars.

According to Nana Romeo, the musicians are human just as he is and therefore he does not see why he cannot confront them when they disrespect him and his listeners.

He further called out Ghanaian celebrities for denigrating him for his actions, citing the instance when American musician Cardi B snubbed them. According to him, he felt the same way they felt when they were snubbed by the American.
