Kidi Blasted And Turned Away From Accra Fm After Appearing Late For An Interview

It was quite an unusual and embarrassing spectacle as Highlife musician Kidi was turned away from Accra Fm by host Nana Romeo after he appeared 25 minutes late for a scheduled interview.

Nana Romeo who could not hide his frustration and disappointment confronted the musician as to why he continues to do that to his show, citing that there had been an earlier occurrence involving the same musician on that same show.

Though Kidi apologized for his actions, he also expressed his reservations about the manner in which he was spoken to. The interview was however called off by the visibly peeved Nana Romeo.

Punctuality to events has always been a major issue in Ghana. Popularly referred to as “Ghanaman Time”, the phenomenon has come to be almost accepted as a new normal in contemporary Ghanaian society. As many continue to praise the host for being firm, there are many who also believe that he was not fair to the musician.
