Coronavirus: Police Will Soon Begin Arresting People For Not Wearing Nose Masks – Minister Of Health Discloses

The Minister of Health, Dr Kwaku Agyemang Manu has disclosed that the Government has initiated processes to authorize the Police to arrest persons who refuse to wear Nose Masks.

The honourable Minister made this disclosure when he was addressing journalists at a press briefing organized by the Ministry of Information to deal with various issues concerning the country’s management of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Minister of Information, Honourable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah also revealed that Government is about wrapping up legal details to give backing to the Police to enforce this directive.

Ghana’s confirmed cases of COVID-19 now stands at 5,530 cases with 674 recoveries and 24 deaths.
