Ghanaian gospel musician Yaw Sarpong has noted that he has named his son after controversial Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale.
In an interview on YFM, the musician noted that he has nicknamed his son after Shatta Wale because he is an avid supporter of the musician.

According to him, his son puts up behaviour as though he was Shatta Wale’s son.
Commenting about his upcoming album, the musician noted that he is looking forward to featuring a secular artist such as Samini, Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata.
But on the lighter side, Yaw Sarpong is raising the next Shatta Wale in the person of his son.
