Popular Ghanaian rapper Martin King Arthur, known as Kofi Kinaata has vowed never to feature other artists on his own songs. He made this disclosure when he was responding to suggestions by some upcoming artistes from his home town of Takoradi on the need to feature them in his music so they can also ride on his fame to build their own careers.
The rapper is of the view that his music tells his own story and he believes that he is the only one who can perfectly tell his story so people should stop dreaming of being featured on his songs.
He was however quick to clarify that he is ever open to feature others on their own songs in order to give them the needed mileage.
Kinaata further disclosed that he has featured close to 30 people in his home region, Western Region alone and he expects them to utilize the opportunity he has given them and not expect him to do anything extraordinary before they can also shine.
The rapper noted that people are so ungrateful, adding that he now understands why politicians brand their gifts with their pictures before donating.
