Davido’s ‘A Better Time’ album, the sequel to his 2019 chart-topping phenom ‘A Good Time’, is shaping up rather nicely based on the collaborations he’s announcing off the album so far.
Davido initially shocked all and sundry when he revealed he had landed American hip-hop star and multiple Grammy-winning artiste Nicki Minaj as a guest star on the album.

The news was greeted with jubilation among his dedicated fanbase, but there was more good news to come.
Davido later announced that after Nicki Minaj, his 2nd massive collaboration was with Tiwa Savage, arguably Nigeria’s most decorated female star of the moment.
He’s now followed that up by announcing Mugeez as his third collaborator, another massive feature which would vastly help the album break into the all-important Ghanaian market.
Davido took to Twitter Wednesday night to announce the new collabo with Mugeez the same way he announced the others – “Who’s ready for that OBO X Mugeez!” he tweeted.
Rashid Mugeez, professionally known simply as Mugeez, is one of Ghana’s premier male vocalists and rappers, one half of the award-winning singing group R2BEES with Omar Sterling (Paedae).
Mugeez is a vocalist almost unparalleled in the Ghanaian industry and we can only imagine how lit Davido and him together on a tune is going to turn out!
