Nigerian singer Iledare Olajuwonlo-James popularly known as Jaywon has been arrested and sentenced following violating COVID-19 curfew.

According to reports, the singer was driving late in the night, around 11 pm amid imposition of a curfew due to COVID-19 pandemic.

He was then arrested by the Lagos police where he was taken to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department in Panti and charged before a mobile court.

Upon pleading guilty, he has been fined 10,000 naira plus 30 minutes community service on Tuesday.
