There has been a huge jump in the number of COVID-19 cases in Ghana to 2,719 today, from Saturday’s case of 2,169.
The update by the Ghana Health Service indicates that 550 new cases have been recorded in a matter of two days.
The Regional breakdown is as follows:

Eastern Region – 94
Central Region – 38
Volta Region – 30
Oti Region – 23
Western Region – 21
Upper West Region – 19
Upper East Region – 19
Northern Region – 13
